Construction Site Management
Our Site Manager will oversee operations on a day-to-day basis, and ensure that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards.
Our Site Manager could have responsibility for a whole site or, with larger schemes, could be responsible for part of a project and report to a more senior manager, who may be taking care of several projects at the same time.
Before work starts, a site manager gets things ready by taking on staff, and preparing the site, carefully planning the work to be done and installing site welfare for site staff.
While work is taking place, the site manager will monitor progress, oversee delivery of materials and carry out health and safety checks and sort out any problems which could hold up work as they arise. Our site manager will also keep in close contact with members of their site team at all times, and liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners. He or she will also ensure that work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation, thus ensuring that the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan is followed and developed throughout the construction phase.
Our Site Manager will also keep the client updated regularly on progress. He will also also act as the first point of contact for members of the public and sub-contractors.
Our Health & Safety professionals are involved in projects from the very outset, providing suitable and sufficient advice and assistance to the Client and Duty Holders, in particular the Principal Contractor, on undertaking the measures they need to take to comply with ‘The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015’.
All of our Health & Safety advisors hold the NEBOSH qualification and are members of IOSH. Bsecure can assist the Client to interpret the Regulations in relation to construction projects.
